mondays will be mondays

18 November Monday

Back to SCHOOL for another week of CLASS!...we had Art History and German.  And this is pretty much how we feel about it...

This is our German professor...he is soooo random and funny but not a great teacher

Stephanie came with me after class to run to this little store to get some photos printed called dm.  This was taken at maybe 4:15pm...it is this dark at 4:15!!!

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY...

WHAT IS THIS A PHOTO OF...

THAT'S RIGHT!!!  CHRISTMAS MARKETS!!!!

I am very excited about these markets. They started on Saturday I think and will go every single day until Christmas!  How unreal is that!  And they will just get bigger and bigger and better and better!  I can't wait to actually go do some browsing with hot apple cider looking for nativity sets and ornaments.  THE DREAM.

We had FHE tonight...yum.  Monika and Mara taught a great lesson about what it means to be a child of God...how to love yourself and love others, and how to remember your divine potential, as well as the potential of everybody you meet.  Mara read this great quote by C. S. Lewis-

“It is a serious thing to live in a society of possible gods and goddesses, to remember that the dullest most uninteresting person you talk to may one day be a creature which,if you say it now, you would be strongly tempted to worship, or else a horror and a corruption such as you now meet, if at all, only in a nightmare. All day long we are, in some degree helping each other to one or the other of these destinations. It is in the light of these overwhelming possibilites, it is with the awe and the circumspection proper to them, that we should conduct all of our dealings with one another, all friendships, all loves, all play, all politics. There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. nations, cultures, arts, civilizations - These are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub, and exploit - immortal horrors or everlasting splendors.”

― C.S. LewisThe Weight of Glory

And with that, I am off to bed for the night!  Actually, probably after an episode of Grey's...le'ts be real.
