Wurst.

13 November Wednesday

Today we had a change in schedule...usually we don't have class till after lunch at 12:30...but today we went with our Art History professor, Professor Kroll, and we went to Kloster Neuberg.  It is a beautiful baroque abbey up on a hill.  It used to be right by the Danube river but the river has been moved since then...it is weird that people can just decide where the river will go sometimes.  It was beautiful!  The day was COLD, though.  The colors are beautiful right now...even though some things are really dead, there is still some color in a lot of things!  This ivy man...wow.

what the place looked like back when...

A few selfies never hurt noboddyyyyy

We had lunch still at the Minert's at about 1:00 I think...then we had class.  We were all really tired.  School is getting OLD I can tell you that much!!!  We had our host family dinner tonight...man, her fabrics for her table clothes are amazing!! -- JAN -- I asked her where she gets them because I want some too, and I am not really sure if she understood me that well, but she was saying she just gets fabrics at the markets...but I have never seen fabrics at any markets!  Ugggghh.

  1. Is that table cloth gorgeous, or what?! Your photos are beautiful. She must have made that mozzarella salad just to match her table. Thanks for remembering to ask her about them. Can you have Prof Minert write the question out for you and have Frau write the answer down? Then tell the Mook. I have never seen fabrics as elegant as hers sold by the yard.
